Yuzvendra Chahal is known for his funny antics, both on and off the field. The witty leg spinner is always up for funny banter on social media with his fellow team mates. The young leggie was at his wittiest best again on Instagram, this time regarding the ICA (International Cricket Authority).
The apex cricket board posted the list of International Test rankings for top 10 batsmen, which included Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane as the three Indians.
Chahal couldn’t hold himself back and expressed his disappointment with a hilarious comment on the post. He wrote, “@icc why u only showed 10 players list because of my name on 11th no.”

Chahal – the all-rounder?
Chahal has been one of India’s key bowlers in ODI and T20I cricket. The youngster has 137 wickets in 86 matches. But with the recent comment, it seems Chahal wants to pursue his career as an all-rounder. He doesn’t have a fifty and a century to his name, but has played some crucial knocks lower down the order.
Last year against New Zealand at the Seddon Park in Hamilton, Chahal scored his highest ODI score of an unbeaten 18. He was India’s highest individual run-scorer in that match. India were reeling at 55-8 when Chahal came in and added 35 for the ninth wicket with fellow spinner Kuldeep Yadav. In his knock, Chahal hit three fours off 37 balls.
Who knows, next year Chahal might enter the top 10, alongside Virat Kohli and Steve Smith. As they say, when there is a will there is way.
Virat Kohli finishes 2019 on top
Meanwhile, Indian skipper ends the year 2019 on top of the International Test Batsman's rankings with 928 rating points. Kohli is placed above Australia's Steve Smith, who finished the year on the second spot with 911 points.
New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson occupied the third place, while Australia's Marnus Labuschagne, who had a dream run in Tests this year, climbed one place to finish fourth.
Apart from Kohli, two other Indian batsmen, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, secured a position in the Top 10. While Pujara finished the year on the fifth spot, Rahane retained his seventh spot.
