After the series opener witnessed robust India Women’s team restrict reigning Australia Women to clinch the game, the second match of the World Championship will be played between West Indies Women and Thailand Women. The game will be played on February 22 at the W.A.C.A ground in Perth, beginning at 12:30 PM IST.
It will be the maiden world cup match for the Thailand Women’s team as they take the field in tomorrow’s match to meet high-sailing Caribbean women. The West Indies Women had a disappointing end during the previous edition of the series as they were knocked out of the semi-finals by Australia Women’s team.
In the upcoming match where at one hand, Thailand will be looking to stand high in their maiden game and West Indies, on the other hand, will be looking to set their foot in the tournament from the first game itself.
