Virat, Rohit and Bumrah Lead the Latest ICC Men’s ODI Rankings

After registering big victories against Sri Lanka and Australia, the Indian team has started their new year well-off. However, it isn’t just the team’s success doing the round in the media world, but various accomplishments of players are also there in the list.  

As per the latest Men’s ODI Rankings released by the worldwide governing body of cricket, the International Cricket Council (ICC), team India skipper Virat Kohli, and opener Rohit Sharma have bagged the top 2 positions on the list. Furthermore, the right-arm fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah secured the top position amongst the bowlers’ list.  

With 886 points after he added a mesmerizing tally of 183 runs during the 3-game ODI series against Australia, Virat Kohli tops the leaderboard. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is sitting comfortably at the second spot with 868 points followed by Pakistan’s Babar Azam on the third spot with 829 points. 

Other Indian batsmen in the list include the likes of Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul who climbed up 7 and 21 slots respectively to attain the 15th and 50th position on the list. 

Amongst the bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah managed to get the first spot reserved for himself with 764 points. Bumrah is followed by Trent Boult at second place with 737 points and Mujeeb Ur Rahman with 701 points at the third place. 

In the all-rounders’ segment, Ben Stokes is leading the table with 304 points followed by Mohammad Nabi at second spot with 304 points, and Imad Wasim at the third with 278 points. On the other hand, India’s Ravindra Jadeja occupied the 10th spot with 233 points in the all-rounders’ list.
