The upcoming season of the UEFA Champions League will see its beginning with the brand new format of its draw. The tournament’s draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on Thursday, August 29. This also means the new era of UEFA Champions League with new teams, more matches, different format, and more competition.
What is the new format of UEFA Champions League?
UEFA football’s division has come up with a new format. Previously, 32 teams competed in the tournament. Four more teams have been added in the tournament. Each team will play eight games from now on to determine which teams qualify for the knockouts. Knockouts consists of – Round of 16, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, and the Final.
