The table-toppers will play their final league game on Sunday to try their bench strength one more time to prepare ahead of the semifinal clash with Jamaica Tallawahs on Tuesday. Trinbago have been a consistent side in the season and they proved why they are the most successful franchise in the Caribbean Premier League history. The top-order is contributing very well when other teams are lacking here. Simmons got some big runs against the Patriots on Wednesday. Munro is already in good touch and Narine is accelerating run-rate in the powerplay. In middle-over Darren Bravo and Pollard have played a crucial role to take Trinbago into the top four. Sikandar Raza also had a good number even playing 2-3 games only. In bowling, they have Fawad, Akeal Hosein, Khary Pierre, and Jayden Seales who had produced wins for Knight Riders.
Meanwhile, the Patriots had a disappointing campaign and the Rayad Emrit-led side would aim to conclude it on a high note. Defeating table-topper in the final game would be a happy end to their campaign. In the last washed-out affair, Chris Lynn showed some glimpses of his fireworks but it is delayed now as the Patriots are out of the competition.
