Amid a cricket break due to covid, there is sad news for all cricket fans as AB de Villiers clarified to Cricket South Africa as he will stick to his retirement plan. There was a rumor during the Indian T20 League 2021 as the South African coach had a discussion with ABD and the board can include him for the upcoming West Indies tour which will feature 5 T20Is, following two Tests.
ABD was in tremendous form for Bangalore and showed his class in Indian T20 League. He had a discussion with the board just before the team selection for the West Indies tour and he gave a final “No” to his international comeback. It will be a big blow to South Africa who is planning for the T20 World Cup 2021 with ABD. Meanwhile, South Africa didn't include Faf du Plessis in the T20 squad.
