Sheffield United takes off to the 2020-21 Premier League with a Monday clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Team Preview
Sheffield keens to start their campaign on a positive note after finishing 9th at the last edition. Chris Wilder’s side missed out on the European Qualification last year which was the big setback for them. The same target relies on Nuno Espirito Santo’s men who will also be unseen in European championships. The Blades lost Dean Henderson, the Manchester United Loanee which is a big setback ahead of the new season. They got Aaron Ramsdale as the replacement and also added Chelsea's Ethan Ampadu for the season 2020-21 but signings are not fulfilled as per the expectations.
Meanwhile, the West Midlands outfit lost the Europa League qualification for the second consecutive year due to a goal difference. Matt Doherty left the club and Nuno brought Vitinha and Fabio Silva to ensure their strength. These Portuguese players will take some time to settle in the English environment and Nuno is hopeful to see some spark from both after losing Doherty. Adama Traore is likely to start in the lineup at wing-back.
