After announcing Ramesh Powar the new head coach, BCCI has also announced the women’s squad for England tour. India will also play one-off the historic Test against England which will be India’s first Test after 7 years. Mithali Raj will lead the Test and ODI sides. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the T20I side. T20 sensation Shafali Verma has been handed maiden ODI call-up and she can make her debut in England ODIs. Shikha Pandey has also been added after missing out the previous series. Wicket-keeper Indrani Roy also received a maiden call-up for all formats. India will first play a 4-day Test in Bristol and then, start the 3-match ODI series at the same ground. T20I series will kick start from July 09 at Northampton.
