Portugal legend C. Ronaldo scored his 900th goal for his team in the Nations League match against Croatia on Thursday, September 5. In the 34th minute of the match, he got a pass from N. Mendes. After the 39-year-old scored the goal, he went down on the ground and looked emotional. This was his 900th goal of his playing career, having played for Portugal, Al Nassr, Real Madrid, Sporting CP, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

The Portugal captain has scored 131 goals in 209 games for his national side. On the other hand, he has scored 450 for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, 101 for Juventus, and 68 for his team, Al Nassr. He also scored five goals for Lisbon, from where he started his professional journey. He is the only men’s player to score 900 goals . 

C. Ronaldo looking to complete 1000 goals 

Ronaldo has expressed his intention of scoring 1000 goals to the former Manchester United R. Ferdinand on his YouTube channel. Ronaldo also pointed out how his goals will set him apart from other competitors. Meanwhile, after the match against Croatia, Ronaldo said that scoring his 900th goal was an emotional moment for him.
