A lot of players have hit fifties and hundreds in the Indian T20 League and won the game for their team. Let’s have a look at batters who have hit most fifties in their Indian T20 League careers.

Players who have hit most half-centuries in Indian T20 League

  1. De Villers (40 fifties)

The former South Africa captain played for Delhi and Bengaluru between 2008 and 2021. He played 184 games and has 40 fifties to his name. After his retirement from the Indian T20 League in 2021, he has been working as a commentator. 

  1. R. Sharma (43 fifties)

The former Mumbai skipper has played 257 games for Deccan Chargers and Mumbai combined. Between 2008 and 2024, he hit 43 fifties. The right-hander is expected to play another season and he may hit more fifties. 

  1. S. Dhawan (51 fifties)

Having made his debut in 2008, the opening batsman has played for a number of teams in the Indian T20 League. The left-hander has played 222 games and has 51 fifties to his name. After playing only five games in the ongoing 2024 season, it is difficult whether he will be retained or released ahead of a mega auction next year.

  1. V. Kohli (55 fifties)

The former India skipper is the only player to play for one team, i.e Bengaluru in the 17 seasons of Indian T20 League. After making his debut in 2008, the right-hander has played 251 games and has 55 fifties to his name. As his team has qualified for the playoffs this season, he is expected to increase this number. 

  1. D. Warner (62 fifties)

The 2016 Indian T20 League winning captain has played for Delhi and Hyderabad since making his debut in 2009. Over the years, the left-hander has played 184 games and has 62 fifties. The 2024 season is expected to be his last season of his Indian T20 League career.
