The former Bengaluru player started his Indian T20 League career with Delhi and concluded with Bengaluru. From 2008 to 2021, the right-hander has played 184 games and has hit 251 sixes. After the 2021 edition, he retired from the league.

4. M. Dhoni (252 sixes)

In the ongoing 2024 season, the former Chennai skipper went past De Villiers in the Chennai vs Bengaluru game last week. Apart from Chennai, the former India captain played for Pune in 2016 and 2017. Since 2008, Dhoni has played 264 games and has 252 sixes. 

3. V. Kohli (271 sixes)

The former Bengaluru skipper has been in great form this year with 708 runs. He is the only player who played for a single franchise. Since 2008, the right-hander has played 251 games and has 271 sixes. His team is in the playoffs and Kohli is expected to increase his sixes count in the remaining games. 

2. R. Sharma (280 sixes)

The India skipper played for now-defunct Deccan Chargers and since 2011, is part of the Mumbai team. He has played 257 games and has 280 sixes. His team finished last in the 2024 season.

1. Chris Gayle (357 sixes)

The former West Indies captain played for Kolkata (2009 and 2010), Bengaluru (2011-2017), and Punjab (2018-2021). Since 2022, he hasn’t been playing in the tournament. During his Indian T20 League career, he played 142 games and has 357 sixes to his name.
