Pakistan Cricket Board finally gave a full stop to all the speculation about the remaining matches of Pak T20 League 2021 and the tournament will now be held in Abu Dhabi following all the covid protocols. Things were not good for Pakistan Cricket Board this week as chances were getting dull with every new update.
Pak T20 League 2021 was postponed earlier in March due to covid and later, PCB announced the schedule of remaining matches from June 01 in Karachi but covid cases were rising in Pakistan and franchises were also not agree to host the tournament in Pakistan at this stage.
PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said, “We are delighted with this development as the remaining hurdles in the staging of the remaining Pak T20 League matches in Abu Dhabi have been overcome and all systems are now good to go.
He also added, “We are grateful to UAE government, National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, Emirates Cricket Board & Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their support in ensuring all final obstacles were removed, which has firmly put us in a position to complete Pak T20 League."
