World T20 Cup 2009 winners, Pakistan is the last team to announce their squad for the 2024 edition. While the other teams named their squads earlier in the month, the Asian side named their team on the last day of the deadline, i.e May 25. Apart from 2009, the team has played two more finals in 2007 and 2022, losing to India and England respectively.
They reached the semis in 2010, 2012, and 2021. Pakistan can easily be called as one of the most consistent sides, having played the semis or finals in almost every edition apart from 2014 and 2016.
Pakistan squad

Apart from them, M. Amir and I. Wasim took their retirements back for the upcoming tournament. The rest of the players have played in the global events before.
