Team Preview
Norway takes on Serbia in Path C's playoff semi-final to get the ticket for next summer's European Championships. Both sides would aim to earn a place in the playoff final and the winner of this game will face either Scotland or Israel. Norway hasn’t appeared in the European Championships since 2000 and they are looking for the first playoff finals in last two decades. Lars Lagerback's side has lost just one game out of 10 in Group F. The only defeat came against Spain in the opening game. They finished their respective group at third, just 4 points behind to 2nd placed Sweden. In their previous Nations League encounter, they edged past Northern Ireland 5-1 last month.
Meanwhile, Serbia is also looking forward to ending the qualifying drought from European Championship as they appeared in the tournament in 2000, finishing in the quarterfinals. Ljubisa Tumbakovic's men added two back-to-back victories in their previous four group fixtures to finish third, three points behind to second-placed Portugal. Serbia’s Nations League 2020-21 campaign started with a defeat to Russia and a draw with Turkey. The playoff winner will take the place along with England, Croatia and the Czech Republic next summer.
