New Zealand Become No. 1 Test and ODI Side In ICC Rankings

New Zealand is creating big milestones since their 2019 WC Final and the team has been transformed into the world’s most dominating side. Kiwis become the number one Test and ODI side now for the first time. They have achieved this top ranking before but they become number one in two formats for the first time.

Under Tom Latham, New Zealand defeated England by 8 wickets to win the Test series on English soil after 22 years. They last won the Test series in England in 1999. Devon Conway was declared Man of the Series in his debut series who scored magnificent double hundred in Lord’s and a half-century in the second Test. India now slipped to number two in ICC Test Rankings but they have a chance to take it back when they will resume their England tour with WTC Final which is starting from June 18 at Southampton.

It will be great to see two top-ranked Test sides meeting in the final of the World Test Championship. India have already started the training and New Zealand will now reach Southampton for the final.
