Team Preview
After the competitive efforts in the first two games in the postseason, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic face off each other in Game 3 of the first round of an Eastern Conference playoff series in the Sunshine State. Orlando Magic defeated the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the first game 122-110 on Tuesday night to go 1-0 in the series. Bucks bounced back in the second game with a 111-96 victory on Thursday to level the series. Milwaukee held a team under 100 points for the first time since the resumption. Bucks made a good start and took away the first quarter 25-13 and after the first half, they led by 21 points. Magic showed some intent in the 3rd quarter but one-point advantage couldn’t draw trouble for Bucks. In the final quarter, Magic led by 5 points but the early debacle cost them a win.
Bucks shot 47.2 percent from the floor, including 15 of 41 from the three-point range while Orlando shot 34.8 percent from the floor, including just 7 of 34 from beyond the arc. Milwaukee dominated the glass 57-42 to overcome 20 turnovers. Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks with a double-double, scoring 28 points, 20 rebounds and five assists in the win. Pat Connaughton also netted a double-double with 15 points plus 11 boards in 24 minutes coming off the bench. Nikola Vucevic led Orlando Magic with 32 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Orlando requires more consistency from beyond Vucevic who has been the solo performer of the series. Milwaukee is back with a comeback win and they are strong favourites to draw one more win to make the score-line 2-1.
