Middlesex vs Sussex, T20 Blast 2020 (South Group), Match Prediction

Middlesex and Sussex square off in the Tuesday night encounter of South Group in T20 Blast 2020.

Team Preview

After the washed-out affair against Essex and Surrey, Middlesex and Sussex will meet in their third match of the tournament. Both sides had previously met each other in the last season when Sussex defeated Middlesex by 8 wickets. In the previous contest, Middlesex played a tie against Kent in a high-scoring affair. Riding on Eskinazi’s 84 and Gubbins’ 53, Middlesex put 209 on the board. At one stage, they were losing the game but it was Tom Helm who pulled off a fabulous over in the end to avoid defeat.

Meanwhile, Sussex met Hampshire on Sunday at Hove and Northeast-led Sharks overcame Hampshire by 6-wickets. With the help of a 3-wickets haul from Briggs, Sussex restricted Hampshire on 176. In the chase, the skipper Luke Wright led from the front and scored 82 off 55 balls. David Wised finished off in style with a steady 43 to add 2-points in South Group.
