Detailed Match Report 

Archer delivered the wicket in the first over with the wicket of in-form De Cock. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav took the charge and put an 83 runs stand. Kartik Tyagi and Shreyas Gopal struck for Rajasthan to form a mini-collapse for Mumbai as both set batsmen got out. Pollard was also sent to pavilion with a sensational one-handed catch from Archer. In middle-overs, Rajasthan was in good control with picking crucial wickets. Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary went for an aggressive approach. Pandya smashed the ball out of the park with his 21-balls 60. In last 3 overs, Mumbai scored 57 runs with 7 sixes and finished the total on 195. 

Rajasthan’s chase off to yet another poor start as Uthappa went early in 2nd over to Pattinson. Smith also went cheaply in Pattinson’s next over to find Rajasthan on 44/2. Stokes was in fine touch tonight and Samson showed some steadiness without making any mistake. Stokes completed his first half-century of the season with back-to-back fours in 10th over. Samson was playing with a different mindset as he hit loose delivery only. He also completed his half-century off just 27 balls. Stokes and Samson dominated over Mumbai’s top-class batting. They made this chase a cakewalk. Stokes completed his 2nd tournament century and the first for Rajasthan. Stokes finished the game with 10 balls remaining to help Rajasthan to secure a memorable run-chase.

Ben Stokes is our star performer of the match. Rajasthan was in pressure when they lost their two batsmen on 44, chasing 195. Stokes settled and then, smashed the ball out of the park. He completed his half-century in 10th over. Stokes put a match-winning stand with Sanju Samson to guide Rajasthan home. With a six, he scored a magnificent century. He remained not out on 107 off 60 balls, including 14 fours and 3 sixes.
