Detailed Match Report

Rajasthan put a dull start to their innings as Smith and Butler went cheaply. In-form, Samson went in Chahal’s to see Pink outfit in deep trouble at powerplay. Uthappa and Lomror both showed steadiness to take the control of the game but Chahal removed Uthappa to break the stand. A smart captaincy was in the chart as Kohli used their all 5 bowlers in first 10 overs to put pressure on Rajasthan. Mahipal Lomrar tried to keep Rajasthan in the game, scoring gritty 47 off 39. After some handy runs in the end from Tewatia and Archer, Rajasthan finished their innings on 154.

In the chase, Bangalore looked quite confident, despite losing Finch to DRS in 3rd over. Rajasthan failed to put pressure and Bangalore marched towards a comfortable victory in the game. Padikkal was in fine touch, scoring yet another half-century this season. Kolhi also got his maiden half-century to get the form back after struggling three games with the bat.
