Siraj continued his top bowling and scalped his third with the wicket of Banton. Kolkata’s batting order was shattered badly and they saw what they did with Bangalore in 2017. Morgan tried to add few runs with gritty 30 but it was Bangalore’s day in Dubai. Ferguson played some good shots with Kuldeep Yadav to post a mere total of 84 in 20 overs. Chahal also grabbed 2 wickets and conceded just 15 runs in 4 overs.
Bangalore started the chase with a happy note. They avoided any blow in the powerplay with scoring 44 runs. Ferguson draw first blood with Finch’s wicket and in the same over, Padikkal also got out with a run-out. Kohli and Gurkeerat completed the final process with ease after a fine bowling spell from Ferguson. With this comfortable win, Bangalore moved to the 2nd spot, upstaging Mumbai.
