Detailed Match Report

Rajasthan started very well to put pressure on Hyderabad openers with Archer and Gopal. Bairstow went early and Hyderabad couldn't score enough runs in the powerplay. Warner got the support of Manish Pandey and both added vital 73 runs for the 2nd wicket. Archer got Warner after 38-balls 48. Pandey continued his top game and finished on 54. In last overs, Hyderabad needed a big acceleration and Williamson did that job along with Priyam Garg. Despite good bowling, Rajasthan conceded 35 runs in last two overs to get Hyderabad 158 which was a per-score on this used surface.

The chase for Rajasthan wasn’t different as they lost Stokes early and later, Smith also got out after a brilliant run-out. Khaleel gave Rajasthan a big blow to get Butler. Sanju Samson started the innings in slow mode, playing a maiden to Natarajan but he tried to rescue the innings with Uthappa but match-winner Rashid got both batsmen to take Hyderabad on driver’s seat. Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag both took the control of the game and took it away from Hyderabad with a match-winning stand of 85 runs.
