Match Prediction: South Africa vs England, 1st T20I

South Africa and England are gearing up for the last phase of the series as they move forward towards the 3 T20Is. The first game of the 3-match series will be played on February 12 at the Buffalo Park, East London, beginning at 9:30 PM IST.

The recently concluded ODI series was a tie-affair between the two teams as one of the three matches was washed due to rain. England is moving ahead with full confidence as they already have the Test series under name while they managed to level things in the ODIs. They’ll be expecting the T20Is to be equally rewarding.

For South Africa Quinton de Kock and David Miller are moving in full swing. Kagiso Rabada has been rested for the T20Is which means that Pite van Biljon and Sisanda Magala might be given a chance to debut. Meanwhile for England Ben Stokes and Jos Butler will be complementing the batting side with Joe Root being unavailable.

Pitch Report & Weather Conditions

The game will be played at the Buffalo Park which is known as a batting paradise. However, some assistance for pacers as well as spinners, is also expected during the middle overs. The team winning the toss is expected to field first.

The weather is expected to be mostly sunny. However, a few clouds are expected to make way during the later part of the day, but there are no chances of rain. The temperature will be around 24-27 degrees Celsius.
