Sanjay Manjrekar, the former cricketer now turned commentator has always managed to stay in the headlines. He has been often seen making comments that don’t go well with the fans and thus, he becomes an easy target of trollers. This time, the former player is being targeted for sharing bowling tips to Jasprit Bumrah.
Sanjay took to his official Twitter handle in Thursday to advice Jasprit Bumrah on using the crease in a better manner for effective bowling. Majrekar is his tweet wrote: “Watched that super over from Bumrah. He is such a fabulous bowler, but he could use the crease a little more to create different delivery angles.”
This came after Bumrah had an off-day during the third T20I between India and New Zealand, after performing well for the first two matches of the 5-game T20 series. In the first match, the player conceded just 31 runs while picking one wicket.
During the second match of the series, he picked just 1 wicket but managed to create pressure with his amazing bowling. He conceded only 21 runs in his quota of 4 hours and helped team India to restrict the hosts at a mere score of 132. However, in the 3rd match, the player had an off day as he gave away 45 runs without any lead, at an economy rate of 11.25.
