Los Angeles are just 3-4 at Walt Disney World after locking up the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Lakers are coming off an impressive win against the Denver Nuggets on Monday following the three straight defeats. After half of the game, Lakers had the 5-point advantage and Denver made a comeback to snatch the 3rd quarter 29-24 to make this game a tie. In the 4th quarter, the game went to the final seconds as Kyle Kuzma hit a 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to take Lakers home 124-121. LeBron James contributed with a double-double, scoring 29 points and 12 assists while Anthony Davis added 27 points in the win. The star of the game, Kuzma led with 25 points.
Meanwhile, Sacramento Kings are back to the winning track as they defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 112-106 on Tuesday night. After the half-game, New Orleans had the one-point advantage but Kings grabbed the 3rd quarter with 9 points lead and the Pelicans couldn’t recover, despite the winning last quarter. Harrison Barnes paced with 25 points while Harry Giles excelled with a double-double. Bogdan Bogdanovic also contributed with 16 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Kings can boost their lottery chances under the new rules, the six teams who did not make the playoffs will vie for one of the top four spots in the Lottery.
