Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers lock horns in Game-4 of their postseason series in the American Basketball League 2019-20

Team Preview

Clipper and Nuggets square off in Game-04 to come close to the finishing line. Clippers took away the first game and the Nuggets squared the series by taking the second game 101-110. In the third game, the Clippers outplayed Nuggets 111-107 to take a 2-1 lead in the playoff series. Nuggets led by 2 points at the half-game after the competitive two quarters. Nuggets continued their advantage to take the 3rd quarter 29-27 and going into the final quarter, they led by 4 points. Denver couldn’t replicate their last game’s success when they won the match after the early lead from the first quarter. Clippers put a solid defense and the duo Leonard-Paul George helped their side to take the final quarter 19-29.

Paul George led Clippers with 32 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Leonardo scored a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. For Nuggets, Nikola Jokic chipped in 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, despite having a wrist injury. Murray contributed 14 points plus 9 assists while Michael Porter added 18 points plus 10 boards coming off the bench.

Clippers shot 54.7 percent from the floor, including 11 out of 31 from the 3-points range while Denver Nuggets shot 46.8 percent field goals, including 11 out of 34 from the beyond the arc. Clippers once again dominated the offensive rebounds with 36-41 and forced 17 Denver Nuggets turnovers in the victory. In offensive -leaders, the Clippers are leading the chart in the league with scoring 121.6 points per contest. They are also standing at the top in field goals with shooting 50.3% from the floor. Denver needs to correct their issues. In Game-03, the first quarter lead saved them, despite losing the last three quarters.
