Carter is the 4th batsman in the T20 format of the game across both domestic and international levels to achieve the feat. Prior to Carter, Yuvraj Singh in 2007, Ross Whitely in 2017 and Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zarai in 2018 managed to hit 6 sixes in an over.
Carter made his senior debut in 2014 for Canterbury Kings, and from then he has played 25 first-class matches, 20 List A games and 26 T20s. Scoring an unbeaten 70 in the last game, the player hit his first half-century in the 22 innings he has played.
