Juventus vs Lyon Champions League Match Prediction

The reigning Serie A champion Juventus will take on Lyon in the Round of 16 ties of the UFEA Champions League 2019-20.

Team Preview

Juventus welcome Lyon to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the second leg of their Champions League clash. Maurizio Sarri's men are eying for their first Champions League title after 1996 and in the last two previous seasons, their story ended at the quarter-final stage. The Italian Club recently clinched their 9th successive Serie A title but the last month was not up to the mark as Sarri’s side lost three matches from their last four matches at the domestic campaign.

Meanwhile, Lyon has an advantage on Juventus after securing a 1-0 win at home through the first-half strike from Lucas Tousart in the first leg game. In the previous match, Les Gones lost against Paris Saint Germain in the Coupe de la Ligue final on penalties. In 2019-20 French top-flight, Rudi Garcia's side beat Nice, Celtic, and Gent last month but suffered a home defeat to Rangers. The winner of this game might take Manchester City or Real Madrid in the quarter-final.
