After a long wait and potential delay, the officials have finally unveiled the complete schedule of the upcoming Indian T20 League. The league which will be beginning on March 29 with the first match between Mumbai and Chennai at the Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai. The cash-rich tournament has witnessed a lot of changes for the 13th edition of the tournament with playing window extension being a major decision.
The officials have decided to ditch the Saturday double-headers this time, and the entire season will have only 6 double-header matches all of which will be played on Sundays only. As per the schedule released, the final match of the league stage will be played on May 17 while the final match of the tournament is scheduled for May 24.
In the scheduled released by the officials of the tournament, there's still no clarity about Rajasthan shifting its base to Guwahati for a few matches. In the schedule as well the venues for first two matches of Rajasthan are mentioned as "Jaipur/Guwahati" whereas all the other matches in the later stage of the series will be played in Jaipur only.
Out of the 8 Indian T20 League franchises, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bangalore have already shared their schedule on their official social media handles.
