Chennai managed to bag a 5-wicket victory in the first match of the much-awaited Indian T20 League season. After various doubts and hurdles, the 13th edition of the Indian T20 League finally kick-started in Abu Dhabi on September 19 with the first encounter between two of the most successful teams, Chennai & Mumbai. A close-edged encounter that looked to be in Mumbai's pocket during the initial overs, witnessed a turn of events with Rayudu's 71 off 48 balls inning.
