Indian T20 League Auction 2020: Deepak Hooda sold to Punjab

The 24-year-old all-rounder, Deepak Hooda, was pouched by Punjab for 50 lac. His base price was 40 Lac. He was recently released by Hyderabad ahead of the auction. Nicknamed as “Hurricane,” Deepak Hooda is known for his big hits and has the ability to turn the ball, changing the game in no time. He has played domestic cricket for Baroda and became the second Baroda player after Snehal Parikh to score a century on first-class debut in 2014.

He made his debut in Indian T20 League in 2015, then he received an astounding INR 4.2 Cr bid by Hyderabad in 2016. This year, Punjab and Delhi team showed their interest in buying him for their teams, but the latter won the bid and welcomed him in their squad.
