Indian T20 League 2021 Postponed Indefinitely

There is a big update from Indian T20 League 2021. BCCI has now decided to postpone the tournament for an indefinite time. It could be a week or could be 14 days. It happened after two players from Hyderabad and Delhi tested positive for COVID-19. Hyderabad and Mumbai game was on schedule but Saha’s positive report created a big tension.

The whole story started with the Kolkata-Bangalore game when two Kolkata players tested positive and BCCI postponed the Kolkata-Bangalore game. Later, Chennai’s support staff tested positive and BCCI postponed the Chennai-Rajasthan match as well. Delhi’s Amit Mishra is the latest name in the list so Delhi will also complete hard quarantine. It means BCCI has no other option to suspend this tournament for an indefinite time.

BCCI will decide the future of this tournament in the next two three days. As per reports, Mumbai could be an alternative option and BCCCI can host the rest of the tournament in Wankhede and DY Patil Stadium.
