Area of concern

Kolkata has released some of its star players, Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn and Piyush Chawla before the auction. The decision to release such players is to increase the pocket size of their team and their pockets have expanded to a whopping tally of 35.64 CRS.  There are certain gaps that need to be filled and Kolkata has to invest their pockets in the best possible manner.

  • The bowling side of Kolkata has been a major concern for the team and the management should look for some good backup spin bowlers.
  • The team also lacks a good finisher other than Andre Russell
  • Shortfall of All-Rounders
