IND vs WI: India Tour of West Indies 2023 Schedule, Venue, Time, Squads

Team India’s next series following the WTC 2023 Final is a tour of the West Indies for all formats. In the West Indies and the USA, India will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is. The 2023 series between India and the West Indies will begin on July 12 and end on August 13.

The two Tests are part of the World Test Championship run from 2023 to 2025. When India went to West Indies for the last time in 2022, they won the T20 series 4-1 and the ODI series 3-0. The last Test match India played in West Indies was in 2019.

India vs West Indies 2023 Match Schedule

The first Test will be held at Windsor Park in Dominica from July 12 to 16, and the second will be held at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad from July 20 to 24. The 100th Test between India and West Indies will be played in the second Test of this series. The first Test will begin at 7:30 PM IST.

The first two ODIs will be played on July 27 and 29 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. The series will end on August 1 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. The first ODI game will be at 7 PM IST.

The T20I series will begin on August 3 in Trinidad. The next two games, on August 6 and 8, will be played in Guyana. Both squads will take off to Florida, USA, on August 12 and 13 to play the last two T20Is and end the trip. The first T20I game will begin at 8 PM IST.

India Squad for West Indies Tour 2023

The India cricket team will play the West Indies in a Test series and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs). The team that will play in the five T20Is will be named later.

India’s Test team has three new players: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Mukesh Kumar. Pujara, who had been the No. 3 player for a long time, has been cut. Umesh Yadav is replaced by Navdeep Saini, and Shami gets a break.

India’s ODI squad for the 2023 West Indies tour

Rohit Sharma and vice-captain Hardik Pandya lead the 17-person ODI team, which includes Mukesh Kumar, who has never played for India before. Chahal and Kuldeep are the two main spinners, and Jadeja and Axar are the two all-rounders who can also bowl spin.

Although no official squad announcement has been made, CWI Men’s Selection Panel chose the 18 players who will go to the training camp.
