After months of entertainment, the on-going season of Indian Football League is coming to an end. Amid the rapid spread of Coronavirus, the Indian sports authorities have decided to either call-off games or organize them behind closed doors without any spectators. So, will be the case for the final match of IFL, scheduled to be played between Kolkata and Chennai on March 14 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. The game will set in motion at 7:30 PM IST.
Chennai who ended the last season with 10th position looked to repeat a similar performance this year too before Owen Coyle took charge of the team mid-season. The team came back stronger & fought their way right to the finale.
On the other hand, Kolkata has showcased amassing performance in the second half of the tournament. They ended the league stage as second on the points table with 10 wins & 4 draws from 18 games.
The upcoming match will be a fierce competition between Kolkata and Chennai as both the teams have notched-up their game mid-season. There are chances that the game might end up in a penalty shoot-out making it more exciting.
