Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Match Preview

Hyderabad and Rajasthan will take on each other in the 40th match of the Indian T20 League 2021. The match will take place in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday, 27th of September. Though Hyderabad has no chance to get into the top 4, it can refrain Rajasthan to do so. Rajasthan is one-win short of getting into the top 4.

Nothing seems to work for Hyderabad in this season, the decision of giving captaincy to Kane Williamson hasn't worked in favor of them and they have continued to lose matches in a consistent manner. Taking Rashid Khan as an exception, no other player has been consistent in the league in this season. Be it Warner or Kumar, everyone has failed to perform. Against Punjab, they couldn't even chase a timid target of 126. Warner's bad form, on top of a sluggish middle order, Hyderabad has suffered a lot in this season.

Same goes for Rajasthan, their journey has been no less than a roller coaster in this season. However, if the team registers a win today, it will reach the top four. But if they lose, their playoff hopes will be turned to ashes. Rajasthan bowlers have done well so far but the team's batting has not been that great.

Weather Report

It will be a hot day as temperature is expected to rise to 37 degrees with clear skies.

Pitch Report

Taking last few games in mind, the pitch has been batting friendly so far, and is expected to remain the same. Fast bowlers get an edge during the first innings. Due factor can play an important role, and spinners might not get the spin on the surface. Due to that it would be the right decision to win the toss and bowl first on this pitch.
