Trinbago Knight Riders are taking the big advantage of the home ground, going unbeaten in the tournament. In the last table-top clash with St Lucia, Dwayne Bravo led Riders with record 500th wicket celebration. Before the rain-affected the game, St Lucia was 111/6 and Trinbago chased down the revised target of 72 with losing 4 wickets. In the absence of Narine, Tambe made the CPL debut to become the first Indian to feature in CPL. Trinbago is close to sealing the top four spot and with the win against Guayna will assure hosts to seal the semifinal spot. In the last 2nd leg game with Jamaica, Guyana failed with the bat and finished on just 108 which was chased down by Tallwahs with 5 wickets in hand. Hetmyer got back to back fifties but fell down cheaply in the next two affairs. The batting needs a recheck to face table-topper. They are currently standing at 4th, not far from Jamaica. One more defeat will give them a scare to place into the semifinal.
