Football World lost its Biggest Star, Maradona Passes Away

One of the greatest and legendary Football stars, Diego Maradona has died from a heart attack. The Argentinian International died at home according to his lawyer and this news delivered a shock for entire Football fans. Maradona recently had surgery on a blood clot in his brain. 

Maradona has been regarded as one of the greatest footballers in the history of the game and his goal against England knocked out the Three Lions in 1986, considered to be one of the greatest goals of all time. Maradona has won the FIFA World Cup in 1986

He also won Serie A title for his club Napoli in 1987 and 1990. For the Italian club, he won Italian Cup in 1987 and UEFA Cup in 1991. In 1991, he left the club after suffering a 15-months suspension for drug violations, and in 1997, he announced retirement.  

In 1999 and 2000, he suffered heart issues but he came out as a survivor. In the last World Cup in Russia (2018), he was also cheering Argentina from the ground. The Argentian star has undergone two gastric bypass operations to control his weight. He left the hospital on November 11 just eight days after being admitted for emergency brain surgery.
