England Women takes on West Indies Women in the 4th T20I of the T20 series in Derby.
Match Timing: Sep 28, 10:30 PM IST
Team Preview
West Indies Women is looking for the moral victory in the series after losing the series in England. On Saturday, England clinched the series with taking 3-0 lead in 5-matches T20I series. After batting first, England posted 154, riding on Siver’s 82 off 61 balls. West Indies tried to avoid a loss as Dottin played a knock of 63 but she failed to get the support from the other hand. The slow run-rate in middle-overs put pressure on Windies and they fell short of 20 runs.
Defeating England on their own home ground is not an easy task for 2016 T20 WC winner West Indies. Stefanie Taylor is pleased with their team performance as they improved their game in the third T20I. Deandra Dottin came as a surprise package who aggregated 170 runs in the series, including two half-centuries. Apart from her performance, their batting unit has been pretty dull in the series. On the other hand, the English side would try out their bench strength after winning the series. West Indies are the underdogs and if their skipper put some class in this game with Dottin, they can draw first blood in the series.
Pitch Report
County Ground, Derby is a decent T20 ground. England used the conditions very well after batting first in each game. Chasing might be tricky but sensible batting can lead the side to a comfortable chase. Pacers can get extra help from the pitch.
