Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers square off in the 5th game of the in American Basketball League Postseason 2019-20. 

Team Preview 

The most intense and thrilling postseason series of this season is now tied with 2-2. Mavericks filled the twist in the Western Conference series with dramatic 2-points win in the last game. Clippers continued their 3rd game form in the first quarter, led by 10 points. Mavericks bounced back with taking the 2nd quarter 34-32 but the advantage was still in favour of Clippers with 8 points. Mavericks needed a big difference to recover it and Luca Doncic did it with taking 3rd quarter 35-19. Going into the final quarter, Dallas was 8 points ahead in the game but Clippers took the final quarter with 8-points to end this game on a tie. The game went into the overtime and a tight finish, Mavericks clinched the session 14-12. 

It was Luca Doncic show on Sunday night. He paced Mavericks with triple-double, scoring 43 points plus 17 boards and dishing out 13 assists. He also becomes the youngest player in league history with a 40-point triple-double in the playoffs. For Clippers, Leonard and Leo Williams scored 32 and 36 points respectively. Dallas shot 50 percent from the floor including 13 out of 36 from the three-point range while Clippers shot 46.4 percent from the floor, including 14 out of 38 from the three-point range. Mavericks dominated in offensive rebounds 54-41. Clippers look more balanced side and they are third in the average points 123.8 per contest in the postseason. The Mavericks ranked 19th in the league in defensive efficiency and Clippers are known for the comebacks. If they somehow stop making errors on crunch situations, they will take the 6th game to go ahead with 3-2 in the series.
