Olivier Giroud was the man who scored the first goal and gave breakthrough for Chelsea. Mason Mount scored the second goal, which further helped Chelsea dominance in the game. In the end the worst thing happened for United when they scored an own goal.
Manchester United scored a goal through penalty but it was too late.
