Chelsea is on the verge of losing their second battle in one week to Arsenal after the FA Cup defeat and it could be the star player Willian in the summer transfer window. Reportedly, Willian agrees to leave Chelsea for the London rivals Arsenal.
The Brazil international has agreed on terms with Arsenal for the next Premier League. Willian has appeared in seven seasons for Chelsea and played over 200 matches in the league. The Blues recently got their Champions League ticket after securing the 4th spot in the standings of the Premier League 2019-20 and failed to lift the FA Cup last week against Arsenal.
As per the reports of the famous English outlet, the Blue outfit has reportedly agreed on a deal with Arsenal on a contract up to £100,000-a-week at the Emirates. Mikel Arteta's side is looking to offer 32-years-old player a three-year-deal.
Willian's agent Kia Joorabchian also confirmed that five clubs are vying to get Brazil International in a transfer bid.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard still wants him at Stamford Bridge, knowing the club’s policy of avoiding lengthy contracts for players over the age of 30. The Brazillian is turning 30 in a week and the Blues have shown no interest to retain their star player ahead of the Champions League clash with Bundesliga Winner Bayern Munich.
Both English clubs are making big changes in their front lines, prior to the signing of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech. Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz is also the main target in the summer transfer window. The Gunners are also vying for Coutinho and Wilfried Zaha as their potential targets to move them at Emirates.
