Burnley will host Crystal Palace to Turf Moor to find their first victory of the season 2020-21. However, Palace would aim for the important three-points on Monday evening to go forward in the table.

Team Preview
Crystal Palace makes travel to the North West to take the 7th spot in the points table. The Eagles occupy the 9th spot after 13 points from a possible 24, and the win at Turf Moor can help them join Everton with 16 points. Southampton is also facing Wolves, and if Wolves pull off three points, they can also join Palace with the same points. After losing to Wolves 2-0, the Eagles picked up three points at home with a thumping 4-1 triumph against Leeds United, despite seeing no goal from Wilfried Zaha. The early 3-1 lead in the first half was enough to take full points from Leeds. Roy Hodgson's men sit at the middle of the table, and any error on Monday can disturb their campaign.
Eberechi Eze might be dropped due to his international withdrawal from the England squad. James Tomkins, Gary Cahill, and Tyrick Mitchell would be recalled after recovering from the injury. Luka Milivojevic is already out of this fixture due to his three-match ban, but he will be available against Newcastle at home.
Meanwhile, Burnley are still searching for the first win this season and stand in the relegation zone with just two points from seven games. Those two points came at West Brom and Brighton & Hove Albion. In both games, they didn't score any goal and featured in goalless draws. Sean Dyche's position looks problematic after this debacle in the Premier League, and they can find some inspiration at home to find them out of the relegation zone. Three points can get them ahead of Fulham in the table, but the task is not easy for Clarets.
Burnley will be without the service of Robbie Brady, who faced an injury for Ireland during the international break. Johan Berg Gudmundsson is expected to get the recall at right-back, and we might see Dale Stephens as well in the main lineups.
Eagles and Clarets met previously in June 2020, and Clarets had the last laugh with 1-0 to end the four-matches losing streak against Palace. At Turf Moor, Burnley lost all three games this season, and Crystal Palace have won the last two meetings here. Sean Dyche's side has scored only three goals, which is the lowest scoring in the 2020-21 season, and they also have fewer shots (19) on target amongst all teams.
