  • The player is recognized as the sixth Indian cricketer who had scored a century on the first day of a Tour Outside Asia. 

  • The player holds the record of most balls faced by an Indian batsman in Test matches with 525 balls. 

  • The player has the record of second fastest 1000 test runs by an Indian player registered under his name.
