BCCI Asks ECB To Reschedule Test Series to get Window for Indian T20 League

Indian Cricket Board is now putting their all effort to find the best possible window to resume Indian T20 League 2021 and September is going to be a free window. BCCI wants to reschedule the five-match Test series between India and England so they can get one week extra to start the tournament early and wind up it in September.

BCCI has written to English counterparts and asked them to reschedule the series. Even there is another news where the Indian board wants to skip the final test to make it 4-match series. The Test series will kick off from August 04 and if it starts one week earlier, BCCI can start the Indian T20 League 2021 from the second week of September in England. Four county clubs have earlier shown their interest to host the season and even, the board can also allow the crowd to matches which will help BCCI to gain some revenue.

ECB already said 4000 spectators will be allowed in the World Test Championship final at Southampton. The England and Wales Cricket Board will soon respond to the BCCI request. Even Jay Shah and Ganguly will also reach England to have a proper discussion on the hosting of the Indian T20 League in the UK. T20 World Cup 2021 will also start in October and England also have some international commitments so India will try to finish the remaining matches in September. 29 matches were played before the season was postponed and the rest of the 31 matches will require at least 20-25 days.
