BCCI on Thursday announced the annual player retainership for Indian cricketers (Men). While Indian skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are listed in A+ category, former Indian captain MS Dhoni's name is missing from the list. Dhoni has been out of the side since July 2019 and rumours around his retirement have been doing rounds for a while. But his exclusion from the central contract have added fuel to the speculations.
The Central contract announced is for the period October 2019 to September 2020.
