Australia T20 League Match Prediction: Perth Scorchers vs. Hobart Hurricanes

We are all set to witness another crackerjack of an encounter as Perth Scorchers will take on Hobart Hurricanes on January 5th at the Perth Stadium in Perth at 4:10 PM IST. In the 24th match of Australia T20 League, both teams will be locking horns with each other for the first time in the ongoing season. While Perth Scorchers are sitting on the sixth spot, Hobart Hurricanes slipped to seventh position after a big defeat last night.

After two back to back defeats, Perth Scorchers made a roaring comeback in their last match against the Brisbane Heat. After posting a total of 149 on a two-paced surface, Scorchers bowlers performed brilliantly against Heat’s heavy batting line up and bundled them out on just 109. Heat’s batsmen struggled against Scorcher’s pacers early in the innings, as they lost four wickets within the powerplay and recovered after that. Skipper Mitchell Marsh would be very happy with his bowler’s performance. However, Scorchers would look to improve their middle overs batting as they struggled in the last game.

Hobart Hurricanes, on the other hand, are coming into this match on the back of a heavy loss against the Brisbane Heat. Hurricanes were hit by Lynn storm as he thrashed their bowlers all around the park. Lynn’s 88 and Max Bryant’s 65 helped Heat post a mammoth total of 212. Hurricanes opener got off to a good start but they couldn’t capitalise on it. The Hurricanes lost wickets at regular intervals, and despite a late charge with the bat from Clive Rose (27 runs off 13 balls), it was all too much for the Hurricanes’ batsmen at the end.
