Arsenal vs Liverpool, Community Shield, Match Prediction

FA Cup Winner Arsenal takes on EPL Champions Liverpool in the Community Shield Final at Wembley Stadium.

Team Preview

Two more weeks are left to the 2020-21 English Premier League and before heading to the new Football Season, FA Cup winner and last season’s winner will conclude the 2019-20 English football season with a community shield match at Wembley on Saturday. Both Arsenal and Liverpool will look to add silverware ahead of the new season. Liverpool had a dream Football season. After bagging the Champions League title last year, they clinched the Premier League trophy after 30 years. They had earlier participated in the Community Shield and lost to Manchester City in Final. Liverpool is ready to defend its Premier League title from September 12 and the Community Shield will give them another reason to celebrate. Arsenal is boosted up after beating Chelsea in the FA Cup Final and earlier, they had defeated Liverpool in the second leg game of the Premier League back in July.

Jurgen Klopp is looking to add another success with the new season of the Premier League. A title victory in 2021 would draw them level with the most successful Premier League side, Manchester United who had 20 titles. Klopp's Liverpool dominated the entire season as they ensured the 19th crown with seven games left. They beat Manchester City by 18 points, despite having a poor show in the last few matches. Mikel Arteta can take inspiration from their recent success over Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea. They failed to seal the Champions League birth but Arsenal added silverware on August 1 with FA Cup. Both clubs have lifted this trophy 15 times. Klopp’s men had a pre-season training camp in Austria where they defeated Stuttgart 3-0 and played a draw with Red Bull Salzburg after going 2-0 down. Arsenal participated in just one pre-season game and beat MK Dons 4-1.
