There are some reports on media about the mega auction of the Indian T20 League that might be held in December this year. BCCI has already given the indication and even fans were also aware of the mega auction before season 2020.
The development is going on and two new teams will also be finalised for next season. BCCI is now keen to complete the remainder of the Indian T20 League 2021 in UAE. After the T20 World Cup, BCCI will plan a specific date for the mega auction.
There are also some updates that a team can retain four players and BCCI is also planning to increase the salary purse of the team up to 90-95 Cr. Bidding for two new teams will now take place mid-October, just after the Indian T20 League final.
