Detailed Match Report
Rohit went cheaply in the first over after a massive six to Sandeep Sharma. Suryakumar and De Cock took the charge but Suryakumar went for 27. After a series of failures, De Cock got his maiden half-century of this season and scored 67. Manish Pandey pulled off a stunner to remove Ishan Kishan who scored 31. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard put yet another acceleration to Mumbai in flag-overs and later, Krunal smashed 20 off 4 balls to take Mumbai 208. On a pure batting wicket, Rashid Khan went for just 22 and picked one wicket.
In the big chase, Bairstow got out early after 15-balls 25 but Warner and Pandey put a solid stand, keeping the run-rate high. Pattinson broke the stand in 10th over to remove Pandey after 19-balls 30. Later, Boult got Williamson out to see Mumbai on driver’s seat. The pressure of the required rate was constantly hitting Hyderabad to get the target and Warner lost his wicket to Pattinson to give the game to Mumbai. Despite some effort at the end, Mumbai clinched the game by 34 runs.
