Osasuna makes travel to the Spanish capital to face Getafe who will start their La Liga campaign on Friday night. Getafe’s first game of the season against Real Madrid was postponed as Real Madrid was busy in the Champions League and they required enough break to start their title defense. Jose Bordalas's side aims to make a positive start at home and grab three points on Friday night. The capital outfit finished eighth in La Liga 2019-20 and missed out on the Europa League qualification by two points. In Europa League last month, they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Inter Milan in the last-16 stage of the Europa League.
Meanwhile, Osasuna will be looking to add three more points after securing a 2-0 victory in the opening game against Cadiz last weekend. Adrian Lopez netted the opening goal and Ruben Garcia added on more in the late second half. Osasuna finished 10th in La Liga 2019-20 and was just four points behind to Europa League qualifications. They have won six of their previous nine La Liga matches and against Getafe, they have lost just one of their last eight games. Jagoba Arrasate's side would try to gain the Europa League spot after an improving show last season.
